My local alternative station switches to Latin music

The legendary WHFS here in Washington, DC switched in a surprise move today to Latino programming. Truly bizarre.

One of our alt stations recently switched formats too. It's pretty strange to switch to a station expecting to hear Tool or Godsmack and instead hearing the soulful sounds of Brick House by The Commodores. [img]confused.gif[/img]

lol......all I can picture is The Fan Man

in my truck I usually listen to the same station (that turned up again only now on FM) that I used to listen to as a wee lad when we only had---
2 R&R stations!
playing the same stuff that they played back then.....

meh, the "new rock" station here just plays Green Day and Franz Ferdinand all day, almost literally! it's not rare to hear FF like, 2-3 times and hour *gasp*


..which is why Im glad I have a CD burner and a cd player in my ma's ride [img]tongue.gif[/img]


And dont even get me started on the classic rock rock station aka "neil Young and a little Bob Dylan" land [img]eek.gif[/img]

The only latin music I hear on radio is jazz.
